Barb and I at the Start of the Breast Cancer Cure Walk
Well we had a great weekend. On Friday we went and had pizza at this restaurant in Yucaipa we had never been to called AJ Bartley’s Chicago Pizza Co. The food was great and the local radio station was there, K-FROG. They were doing dice games to win prizes and I ended up winning a $50.00 gift certificate back to the restaurant. We enjoyed sitting out and listening to music and yummy pizza oh yes and they have great Gelato.
Then on Saturday Rob had another football game. They play with such heart but lost this one to a team of what looked like kids to big to be playing at this age level LOL.
Then on Sunday I did a 5k Breast Cancer walk in our city of Redlands. It was a wonderful and emotional experience. My very good friend of 6 years now was diagnosed last June and had to have a double mastectomy. We walked together today with Gillian, Brayton, Rob, Frosty and Barb’s son David. Sadly we recently found out that one of Rob’s teachers also was diagnosed and so we walked in support of Mrs. James also today. We pray that with the money from these walks a cure for this disease can be found.
