Thanksgiving Week

Well we had a great Thanksgiving week vacation.  We started on the Sunday before with Rob, Brayton and Frosty running a 5k race to raise money for Children with Cancer.  They completed it in 37 minutes even though we were having terrible rain that morning.  I am very proud of all three of them.
Then from the race Charles, Rob and I headed out to Scottsdale and Gill, Brayton and his mom came on that Wednesday. Sunday we had a great dinner and catch with family at Marylise's then on Monday evening I was able to participate in a weekly event my sisters and parents do having dinner and watching dancing with the stars together it was so much fun, LOUD but fun.
Tuesday Charles, Rob and I headed down to Tucson to the UOA to pick up Nicole.  We stopped off at the Casa Grand Ruins it was really something to see and Rob learned quite a bit about the Hohokom Indians of Arizona. Then on to the UOA where we toured the campus and went to dinner with Nic.  On Wednesday we headed back down to Scottsdale to get ready for our Thanksgiving Feast.  It was wonderful there were 19 of us and were very happy to have Judy Brayton's mom share the holiday with us in Arizona.
Thursday night we all headed out to do some late night early black Friday shopping.  Then on Friday night we celebrated a truly wonderful 80th birthday with mom.  We had a nice dinner at Monte's one of her favorite restaurants, we had a private room and 21 people it was so nice.  Then we all went back to Mom's house and relaxed. Saturday we got together one last time before heading back to Cali and we decorated my parents house and tree for Christmas.  It was a wonderful week.
