Today we took off for the state of Wisconsin. We made our first stop at the Jelly Belly Factory where we went on a tour of the factory aboard the Jelly Belly Express and of course sampled some yummy jelly beans. Then we were off to the Milwaukee Brewers Stadium for a tour of the Miller Park stadium. Then on again to the Miller Brewery for a tour and again some samples, the structures of the original buildings were beautiful and we even went down into a cave where the original brewery use to keep beer cool before mechanical refrigeration. Ok then off again to do some shopping because Rob wanted his Green Bay Packers souvenirs to come from Wisconsin, home of the Packers. We had to then go and have cheese because after all it was Wisconsin, and the cheese was good. Then we went and toured a beautiful old Lighthouse called North Point and finally before heading back to Chicago we went to Great Lakes Naval Station, the base where Charles went to boot camp and gunner’s mate school. Then back to Chicago to kick back and relax and wait for Marylise and Richie and Nicole to arrive. We are looking forward to Vacationing in Chicago with the Curets. Pics to follow.
