Taste of Chicago- Yummy dinner at multiple booths that were set up along Grant Park. This is a fest has been around since 1980 and we had deep dish pizza, fried steak sandwiches, eggplant parm sandwiches, fried raviolis to name just a few things that we all shared and tried. THANK GOODNESS they sold sample sizes so we are able to have fun with lots of different things.
Then we went for a walk through Millennium Park where we saw the famous Bean Statue it was fun to stand and take beautiful pictures with this statue. This statue is really called the Cloud Gate. Then we went and saw statues that had been sent over for the first time from China. We liked all the beautiful art work but we really liked Sui Jiangue, also known as the Windy City Dinosaur built in 2009. Then we headed back to the Hotel and had a front row seat to the fireworks show from the Navy Pier.
